10 hour exposure; Moontrack after spring flood
Sand Flats, Utah

I love the scalloped edges of sandbars that sometimes form after fast, flash floods.
"Sandbar" incorporates the moderate arc of the spring moon to paint across the pool.

A thin film and tiny debris on the pool's surface created various highlights throughout the night.  A tiny trickle entered the pool from the left as well, but without enough flow to breach the sandbar.
